How can I chase spiders out of my house friendly
Introduction
In spring you can sometimes find thick spiders around the house.
The male spiders are then searching for female spiders, coming out of hiding and walk around your house. Spiders are no harmful animals but many people are scared of them and don’t want them in their houses.
To help you get rid of these unwanted guests, here are some tips.
Where are spiders hiding ?
In order to chase them away, you should first know where spiders hide best. Spiders often hide in places where people usually do not come often or in places where it is dusty or dirty.
Examples of these places are;
- In the basement
- At the attic
- Around trash cans
- Behind the stove
- In waste pipes
- In little cavities around the house ..
Animal friendly chase of spiders
To prevent spiders entering your home you should seal gaps or holes in the walls with glue. Clean spaces with water and vinegar where you think spiders are hiding.
Place gauzes or insect screens before little holes and cavities so that spiders cannot get through.
Use spider catchers, like ecosect or Luxebugaway. These modern spider traps are a good alternative to a pot that you put on the spin and a piece of paper or something else that you slide under the pot in order to catch the spider. However, the distance between you and the spider is much larger with these new spider traps.
Other or no friendly ways of removing spiders out of your house
Do not remove the spiders with brooms, with the vacuum cleaner or hit them with your shoe. There are so many spiders around the house that it is almost impossible for you to get rid of all of them.
Less friendly ways of chasing spiders are sprays or creams. But if you’re going to use sprays anyway, please choose one that is biodegradable and contains no toxic substances.
If you really have to deal with a great plague of spiders, you can always rely on a specialized company that will treat your home.
